Professor Pit-Bull Pictures

Christopher Pit-Bull, originally from São Paulo, is a devoted capoerista deeply committed to spreading the culture and wonders of this Brazilian martial art. He has been a member of Grupo Senzala for over 8 years. Before that, he trained under professor Eros from Capoeira Gerais Sul da Bahia and Mestre Gladson from Capoeira Policenter at Universidade dea São Paulo for five years. Christopher moved to New York City five years ago to work for a financial publication and decided to spend his spare time spreading the tradition of Capoeira holding free classes at the Riverside Park during the last two summers. He also taught Capoeira to children at a family homeless center on Cypress Avenue in the Bronx.
