Welcome to Capoeira Tribeca
Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form that makes a ritual of movements from martial arts, games, and dance. Capoeiristas are often referred to as dancers that fight and fighters that dance. This is a Capoeira Group mostly for beginnersand intermidiate though advanced students are also welcome. The class had a very affordable price and it is tought in a very personalized fashion. Come and join us. You will learn the style of Grupo Senzala, one of the oldest and most respected capoeira groups of Brazil. Classes start at 7:00 and end at approximately 8:30pm every Monday and Wednesday. Just take the N, Q, R, W train and get off at the Canal street stop and walk two blocks south. Classes are held at the Chinese Cultural Center at 390 Broadway, 2nd Floor in the Chinatown section of Manhattan.
